Our projects include: Seattle Waterfront Revitalization: This project aims to transform the Seattle waterfront into a vibrant public space, enhancing the city's connection to Elliott Bay. Seattle Light Rail Expansion: Mott MacDonald is contributing to the expansion of Seattle's light rail system, improving public transportation and reducing traffic congestion. To support a major transit program in Seattle, we're looking to welcome a Contract Manager to the team to manage and have oversight of both the Consultant and Contractor contracts, particularly in the pre-construction phase. The Contract Manager responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to: Establish and implement internal procedures for review, analysis and disposition of contract terms and claims for the program, in collaboration with the Project Controls Lead. Coordinate with the contractor, consultant and client and lead contract discussions to ensure alignment with the delivery terms. Draft correspondence between parties. Identify, track and resolve disputes when they arise. Facilitate necessary meetings with the project team and client management to discuss and brief contract status. Identify and manage potential claim issues by reviewing the change management process and potential changes log for each project. Administer and document claims process and close out all claims resolution and payment procedures. We invite applications from candidates with: At least ten years' experience in a relatable discipline (contract management, project controls, project management, etc.). A bachelor's degree in a relatable discipline is preferred. Experience with Progressive Design Build contracts. A proactive nature to address potential issues, as and when they arise. Ability to work harmoniously with the contractor, client and consultant team. Ensure effective communication with the project team. Effective stakeholder engagement. The expected salary for this position is $178,000-- $218,000 Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
