Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am - 2:30pm

Duration: Direct-hire (permanent position)

Overview

Our client is an company in the life sciences sector, focusing on maintaining high standards in laboratory practices and safety. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing results in biological, chemical, physical, and life sciences.

Responsibilities:

• Calibration of laboratory test equipment.

• Maintain maintenance records for equipment.

• Run steam sterilization.

• Perform environmental monitoring of clean rooms.

• Mix chemicals.

• Prepare loads for EO sterilization.

• Perform package visual, seal strength, and integrity testing.

• Test medical devices for Total Organic Carbon (TOC), pH, Optical Density (OD), Osmolality, Viscosity, Bioburden, and Bacterial Endotoxin (BET).

• Conduct daily QC checks of in-process batch mixing and passivation chemistry.

• Send product samples to outside labs.

• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.

• Understand and adhere to the company’s Quality Policy statement.

Qualifications:

• BS in Microbiology, Biology, or related science

• 2-3 years of lab experience in nutraceuticals, med device, or pharmaceutical industries

• Experience with microbiological, bioburden, LAL, and/or analytical testing required
