Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep and beautification of the university grounds. Key duties include cutting grass, trimming bushes, and performing various landscaping tasks to ensure the campus remains attractive and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Mow lawns and trim edges around walkways, flower beds, and walls.

• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain a neat appearance.

• Perform general landscaping tasks, including planting, watering, and fertilizing plants.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter.

• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.

• Perform general labor tasks to support the maintenance team.

Skills:

• Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment for landscaping and maintenance.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

• Basic knowledge of landscaping and horticulture practices.

• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
