Job Title: Groundskeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain and improve the appearance of university grounds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting grass, trimming bushes, and general upkeep of the university's outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Cutting grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance

• Trimming bushes and shrubs to ensure they are well-kept

• Performing general upkeep and maintenance of university grounds

• Loading and unloading equipment and supplies

• Executing general labor tasks as needed

Essential Skills

• Experience in landscaping

• Proficiency in general maintenance

• Ability to perform general labor tasks

• Strong attention to detail

• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or a related field is preferred

• Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools used in groundskeeping

Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. The role requires physical activity, including lifting, bending, and operating groundskeeping equipment. Appropriate attire for outdoor labor is necessary.

Shift Schedule is Monday-Friday 5am-1pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
