Job Title: Cable Harness Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting wire harnesses and cable assemblies in compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and experience in soldering, crimping, and wiring techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble wire harnesses.

• Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires according to specifications.

• Perform soldering, splicing, and connector installation as per IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

• Bundle and route wires neatly, ensuring proper cable management and strain relief.

• Conduct continuity and functional tests on assembled harnesses using multimeters and test equipment.

• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, performing necessary rework or repairs.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety guidelines.

• Document work processes, inspections, and any deviations from standard procedures.

• Collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors to ensure products meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the aerospace industry.

• NEED TO HAVE ACTIVE CERTIFICATIONS- Certification in IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 i

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and components.

• Ability to work effectively in a clean room environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
