2025/26 School Year location to be determined; Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) support students in communication skills to be successful learners. You will serve an important role in students' academic and personal successes by combining communication goals with academic and social goals.This position is one of four SLPS who provide services to students throughout the District.LPOSD provides CFY supervision, ASHA dues are paid by the District and State Licensure fees can be reimbursed. Each SLP must provide their own reliable transportation; mileage between schools is reimbursed. The salary range for the 2024-25 school year is $49,138 - 71,018 depending on applicable years of experience. The salary for the 2025/26 school-year has not been approved, the amount will be updated when it has been approved. There are stipends available for education levels at Doctorate Degree and National Board Certification.New SLPs to LPOSD are paired with a Mentor during your first year of employment, assisting you in establishing yourself in the profession and the District. SLPs coordinate services with students, families, Teachers, Principals, and other staff to support students in grades PreK-12.LPOSD is well supported by the community, and there are many parents and other community members who regularly volunteer in our schools.
