Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Supervisor.

Position Details

Reports to Area Showroom Manager

Direct oversight of 5 associates

Schedule: M-F 8-5, some Saturdays (2 per month)

Responsibilities

Work with customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, high end fixtures and cabinetry

Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information

Lead and support a team of associates while being able to initiate and embrace change

Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while using suggestive sales techniques and handling inquiries timely and accurately

Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field

Maintain and develop relationships with customers, vendors, and support teams

Qualifications

Prior sales leadership experience is ideal coupled with sales and customer service experience

A strong sales presence

Problem solving, leadership and listening skills

Organizational and time management skills

The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge

Understand the basics of design and interior decorating

Strong mentor skills and desire to train others

Able to engage in a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions for the varying needs of the customer

$19.51 - $43.05

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
