Amazon Program Manager, Fundamentum in San Jose, Costa Rica

Description

Are you passionate about protecting Amazon's Vendors and their businesses? Join our team safeguarding vendor accounts from unauthorized activities across Amazon's global marketplace. We're looking for a Program Manager to help build and optimize systems that protect hundreds of millions of e-commerce transactions worldwide.

Key job responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of program/project management experience

• Experience leading cross-functional technical projects

• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

A day in the life

Program Leadership & Execution

• Drive end-to-end delivery of security features, services, and systems through cross-functional collaboration

• Develop project roadmaps, including resource allocation, milestones, and launch schedules

• Manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs while balancing business needs with technical constraints

• Track and report on key metrics, creating action plans to address gaps

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Partner with Risk Investigators and engineers to optimize security controls and friction points

• Lead weekly metrics reviews focusing on investigation quality, SLAs, and system performance

• Build relationships with global process owners, site leaders, and operations managers

• Develop and maintain clear documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
