Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team and support various HR functions at a higher level. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing complex HR tasks, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance to managers and employees.

• Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.

• Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy in timekeeping and payroll data.

• Support health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

• Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior HR staff.

• Perform other HR-related tasks and duties as assigned.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably as a generalist or in a senior position.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

• Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.

• Experience with HR software and systems is desirable.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
