This is a Full Time benefitted OR RN position in a very fast paced environment at Rancho Bernardo Ambulatory center. This role is 4 days a week Monday- Friday with a rotating day off weekly. The shift is 10 hours from 6:30a-1700. No weekends. There is occasionalStandy By/Late Call 4 Shifts Per month. (2.5hrs each)that is rotated by staff.

This position includes $4K Retention incentive and $3K Relocation assistance for eligible new hires

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
• Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating)
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

  • * Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing

• Prefer 2 years of recent ASC or main hospital experience
• experience administrating conscious sedation (will train full time candidates)
• multispecialty OR training particularly inGI, Pain and OR- GYN, Urology, ENT, Plastics
