What you will do:

To be successful, the candidate will possess a solid background knowledge of various versions of JDE ERP, strong collaborative, communication, and mentoring skills, demonstrate confidence and an ability to work through ambiguity, and be very organized.

• Ensure excellence in process execution across all operational processes (e.g. Change, configuration, etc.) related to the solution.

• Influence internal customers and project teams through change management initiatives, ensuring that application and process development standards are strictly complied with for best system continuity and data integrity.

• Influence process development and carry them out to meet business objectives.

• Develop influential relationships with internal and external team members and vendor partners at appropriate levels.

• Make decisions that impact the work of employing organizations, achievement of organizational objectives, and system and organizational performance.

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of IT strategy.

• Solicit and monitor customer feedback and respond with actions that drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure documentation that is relevant to the service is maintained in a meaningful and accessible manner. This includes system documentation, requirements and test scripts, knowledge articles, and configuration and organizational information, emergency contacts/call lists, etc.

• Ensure technical governance of the ERP portfolio.

• Creatively apply a wide range of technical, functional, and/or organizational principles.

• Ensure the platform is scalable and configured to meet growing customer numbers.

• Advises on the available standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to own area of service and can make appropriate choices from alternatives.

• Analyzes requirements and advises on scope and options for continuous operational improvement. Demonstrates creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the client/stakeholder.

• Analyzes, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost, and quality targets.

• Maintain awareness of pending and active projects that may or will impact the business application and stability of systems or services.

• Push for quick adoption of project execution strategies that produce highly maintainable services with low TCO.

• Minimize build-to-run transition by scrutinizing changes very carefully, opting to keep systems stable instead.

• Ensure a smooth transition into operations and ensure this is documented.

What you will need:

• At least 10 years of experience in JDE is required. Experience with core JDEdwards functionality in Sales & Distribution, Financial and Manufacturing, understanding of the supporting technologies supporting JDEdwards, RF Technologies, iSeries, reporting Tech

• Experience in back-end database technologies such as DB2, MS SQL Server, and iSeries

• Experience with third-party integrations with JDE.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.

• Strong knowledge of PC skills working with large datasets (Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word)

• Quick learner; ability to research and learn new technologies on own as necessary.

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Independent thinker can make technical decisions without extensive input from others.

• Strong team player.

• Ability to lead on and off-shore technical teams.
