Concentrix is actively looking for a game changer that is passionate about quality engineering. The Test Architect will provide technical leadership that contributes to the strategic direction for our global Test Engineering Practice. The role requires long term thinking while establishing solution designs for active program strategies. Knowledge areas span the delivery of QA activities such as AI, Test Automation, Service Virtualization, Test Data Management, Performance Testing, Environment Design and advanced Test Management strategies all combined to improve effectiveness, costs, and velocity and increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain testing frameworks with a strong focus in AI for automated testing applications supporting various applications and technologies for our clients.
Understand customer requirements and translate them into Technical solutions in a timely way
Work comfortably in a variety of technology landscapes
Demonstrate and communicate our automation solutions to current and potential customers
Work collaboratively with other team members, onshore and offshore, to design and implement these solutions
Drive innovation and help deliver cutting edge test automation solutions through the definition and delivery of Concentrix IP
Design integrated test data, environment and validation solutions, tools & architectures to deliver a complete Continuous Test/DevOps model across all customer platforms
Perform client QA Current State assessments and develop proposals with prescriptive solutions to drive the automation development strategy and implementation
Develop testing strategies.
Implement and delivery on key QA metrics and KPIs for assigned projects
Support organization in pre-sales solutioning
Act as our representative for the Test Community of Practice and establish regular knowledge-sharing sessions with the QA team to improve cross-functional collaboration and knowledge transfer with other representative from Geos.
Travel required up to 20%
Qualifications:
10+ years designing and implementing complex Test frameworks and solutions across various technology stacks and applications, including AI, web, mobile, API, data validation
7+ years of experience in automation testing in an Agile software development environment (Scrum, Kanban, Kaizen)
At least 5 yrs. experience with database testing and complex SQL query experience, data validation. Big data testing is a plus!
Strong working knowledge & experience in DevOps tool chains and using CI/CD tools like Git, Maven & Jenkins, Azure DevOps
Experience on working with cloud automation solutions like LambdaTest
Hands-on proven Java background with experience in writing and debugging automated test scripts to include, knowledge of best practices required for automation
Strong programming and scripting experience with langauges such as Java, .NET, Python, Javascript, AngularJS
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, continuous integration
Experience with implementing mobile app automation testing frameworks such as Appium, Perfecto or similar
Experience in test frameworks and tools, including (but not limited to): iUnit, TestNG, JMeter/Gatling Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, Appium, RestAssured/SoapUI, etc.
Comfortable with leading & working in collaboration with the developers to include, working with internal & external teams
Leverages code quality tools and practices to deliver high quality test code within the CI/CD pipeline
Familiarity with implementing automation in methodologies such as TDD, BDD, ATDD and others
Should have strong experience in test automation design patterns and knowledge of anti-patterns
IT consulting experience to include, working closely with clients and providing excellent customer service
Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
Self-Starter and proactive with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position is $131,699-$197,548, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
