The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

About the Role:
At Western Governors University, we're transforming education, and we're looking for aSenior Technical Sourcerto help us find exceptional talent to support our mission. This12-month contract roleis fully remote.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Technical Sourcer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of WGU by identifying and engaging top technical talent. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing Sourcing Strategies: Partnering with hiring managers and talent partners to understand hiring needs and creating plans to find the right candidates.

Engaging with Candidates: Proactively reaching out to prospective candidates through social media, events, professional networks, and other creative avenues, building relationships, and representing WGU authentically.
*
Building Talent Pipelines: Creating and maintaining pipelines for both immediate and future technical hiring needs.
*
Collaborating Across Teams: Working closely with recruiting and hiring teams to ensure a seamless hiring process.
*
Improving Processes: Identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize sourcing tools, workflows, and strategies.
*
Leveraging Data: Using market research and insights to refine sourcing strategies and inform hiring decisions.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is experienced, proactive, and knowledgeable about technical sourcing. Here's what you'll need to succeed:
Required:
*
4+ years of experience as a technical sourcer with a proven track record of identifying and engaging top talent; experience as a full-lifecycle technical recruiter is a plus.
*
Expertise in sourcing candidates through social media, events, professional networks, and other creative channels.
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with candidates and hiring teams.
*
Mastery of ATS and CRM tools, with Workday strongly preferred.
*
An understanding of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.
