Summary

The KAM will be responsible for leading customer account management associated with their retailers. Persuades major chain customers to implement sales promotion and marketing programs of Admiral Beverage Corporation and its suppliers. Developing trusted relations with customers, stakeholders and executive sponsors. Overall duties include strategic annual planning, quarterly business reviews, program development, analyzing sales reports and provide insight and recommendations, trade management and account administration. This role will also require strong project/time management skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills to handle multiple priorities and objectives aimed at meeting the customer assigned annual growth targets.This role calls on Large Format Customers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Builds relationships with customers, suppliers, and corporate managers to achieve business objectives both in office and social environments

  • Deliver annual customer volume, net revenue, profit & M/C goals

  • Lead & coordinate customer meetings

  • Lead & coordinate supplier meetings relative to securing customer specific support, programs & funding

  • Strategizes with chain customer to create, build and deliver marketing plans

  • Plans, organizes, and executes client entertainment activities to support business objectives

  • Communicate promotions & programs partnering with all bottlers and leadership team

  • Lead planning internally to ensure appropriate trade, volume & profit deliverables are met

  • Manage and communicate account financial

  • Leverage Excel modeling to assess financials, valuation, and alternate scenarios

  • Forecasting accuracy for monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts

  • Able to compute ROI event analysis on promotional events

  • Time spent in trade with Sales Centers identifying opportunities, providing support and insight

  • Collaboration with functional areas including finance, strategy, marketing, sales locations

Able to travel as needed for business purposes with overnight stays.

Manage business reporting and tracking tools:

  • Proficient with iDig reporting tools

  • Updating weekly/monthly/quarterly Retail Promotional Priorities (PlayBooks & Planners)

  • Monthly Business Review/Quarterly Business Planning with retailers

  • Manage customer Authorized Product Lists

  • Analyze IRI & shipment data to deliver results

  • Customer management processes (new items, contracts, etc.):

  • Developing and negotiating annual CDA agreements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to identify and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proficient in basic computer skills, including data retrieval from host computer and Microsoft Office Suite.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport and promote a positive business image with customers and suppliers.
