Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have attended schooling for a specific trade or possess 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field. The HVAC Technician II will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems and equipment in accordance with BioMerieux policies and procedures.
Primary Duties
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and BioMerieux policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and improve operational efficiency.
Attend and complete required schooling and certification programs for specific trades.
Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to maintenance
Prioritize projects and daily requests, assigning them to internal teams or external resources.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Training, Education, Experience
HVAC:
Gas certifications.
Universal refrigeration type universal license.
NATE certifications.
4-6 years’ Commercial experience HVAC
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Journey out by attending schooling for a specific trade or 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Commitment to safety and continuous learning.
Working Conditions
Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.
Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.
Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
