Popp Enterprises, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks for a full-time Estimator. Duties: The Estimator will perform the following duties, but not limited to: Review data in order to assess the time, money, materials, and labor required to provide a flooring service; Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates; Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates; Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future projects; Flooring plans take offs and bidding of upcoming jobs; Recommend ways to cut costs; Work with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients; Maintain records of estimated and actual costs; and Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors. Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm., off Saturday and Sunday. Education/Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in engineering, construction, or a closely related field.
