Antea USA, Inc. (AnteaGroup) is a global provider of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) services and solutions across multiple industries. We are seeking a Sustainability Professional to join our growing Sustainability GHG Accounting and Carbon team. As a Sustainability Professional within our GHG Accounting and Carbon team, you will work closely with global clients to review and implement best practices for data collection and calculation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Additionally, this position will support decarbonization projects and emission target setting for clients spanning multiple sectors including consumer products, industrial manufacturing, technology, and others. Assignments may also include supporting other aspects of our Sustainability Practice offerings including corporate water stewardship, reporting and disclosure, and sustainability planning. Where will I work? This position can be remote, however if an Antea Group office is located within close proximity, a flexible work model will be expected. If there is a hybrid work environment, it is expected that this position report to the office periodically and/or as requested for in-person meetings, mentorship, and collaboration with other team members. The is a full-time position with travel up to an estimated 30% as necessary. The preferred candidate must be located in the continental US. Education and Training BS in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field. 0-5 years of experience in relevant environmental consulting, or similar experience in corporate responsibility management at a private or public company. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. Desired Experience Comprehensive experience with Scope 1,2,3 carbon accounting and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories. Experience in Scope 3 GHG accounting, including setting appropriate Scope 3 emissions boundaries, identifying emissions factors for supply chains and FLAG related emissions. Experience in supply chain management and/or Scope 3 emissions inventories. Advanced experience in carbon accounting (e.g., complex data sets across geographies, industries, etc.) Experience with developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. Proven ability to prepare detailed reports and presentations on carbon footprints and progress towards SBTs and SBT frameworks such as SBTi. Familiarity with data analysis and management. Familiarity with broader ESG strategy, data analytics, and/or preparation of corporate disclosures (CDP, GRI, EcoVadis) a plus. Strong record of project deadline adherence and execution of project related goals and objectives. Experience in driving multi-phase projects to completion including diverse project teams / multiple stakeholders Fundamental Skill Set Familiarity with advanced data science techniques to model, forecast emissions scenarios, and carbon reduction strategies. Strong organizational skills/attention to detail High energy and self-initiative Collaborator and ability to work with a global team of dynamic practitioners Ability to effectively multi-task and delegate assignments to qualified practitioners as necessary Ability to work independently and proactively produce results Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
