Indeed Senior Lead, Product Strategist - Go To Market Commercial in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Your job

As a Senior Lead in the Go-to-Market Commercial (GTM:C) team at Indeed, you will be a key decision-maker, driving strategic initiatives and identifying value-creation opportunities for our core products. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing, Sales, Client Success and senior leadership to address complex and ambiguous problems. In this role, you will run cross-functional teams to develop and deploy strategies that expand our products globally. Your goals will be challenging and inspire the team to think creatively and innovatively. Success will not be measured by delivering product features, but by the significant business impact you achieve.

You will be responsible for evaluating and recommending strategies to launch new products, partnerships, and features into the market. This will involve collaborating on product feature prioritization for your product, making recommendations to grow revenue, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring smooth roll-outs. You will develop hypotheses to address core marketplace challenges, create business cases with clear feature recommendations, validate hypotheses via testing, analysis and research, and iterate from MVP to more scalable versions. You will define requirements, measure key results, track experiments, and release new features. You will perform data analyses using specialized in-house tools designed for the vast amount of data Indeed gathers. Your experience working with large cross-functional teams and your ability to embrace complex technical, product, and people challenges will be essential in making a significant impact on job seekers, employers, and your colleagues.

As a senior member of the Go-to-Market Commercial team, you are a trusted advisor to Market Leadership, Product, and GTM teams. You enjoy coaching more junior colleagues, and helping them reach higher levels of performance. You are capable of leading complex workstreams with minimal guidance. You prioritize your activities to maximize impact, using data and insights to identify the most important issues and guiding your cross-functional team to focus on them. You proactively recognize and seize opportunities to impact the business and foster a culture of proactivity within your team. You communicate up to the VP level, understanding when and how to convey important information. You are a clear, concise communicator who influences others and helps the team develop excellent communication and leadership skills.

Who you are

  • Conduct autonomous data review to identify marketplace challenges and opportunities, building business cases to support strategic outcomes

  • Use data and insights to inform product commercialization recommendations, including market launches, pricing, and product features, with minimal input from senior partners

  • Develop and deploy Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies that define the target market, positioning, value proposition, and comparative differentiators

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Field Readiness, to ensure alignment and execution of strategies

  • Steer commercialization efforts by defining and validating pricing and packaging strategies, considering market nuances, price sensitivity, and supply-demand dynamics

  • Represent the voice of the customer to shape product-market fit, validating value propositions and incorporating feedback into product development cycles

  • Partner with senior leadership across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Client Success to influence product roadmaps, align on key actions and achieve business priorities

Who we are

  • 7+ years experience in Product Strategy, Product Marketing, Management Consulting, Business Operations or other related fields

  • 3+ years of experience using Python or SQL to query, structure, and examine data, and a proficient user of spreadsheet and data analysis software (e.g., Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Tableau) to inform strategy

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence through solid relationships across the organization, including senior leadership

  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of leading workstreams or projects autonomously

  • Experience capturing customer challenges and insights and communicating requirements across large, cross-functional teams

  • Ability to recommend, influence, and solve technical product challenges

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 123,000 - 185,000 USD per year
