POSITION PROFILE

The Manager II, Dealer Business Development supports the Dealer network and is focused on developing, managing, and growing Services Revenue within the Dealer Channel. This position provides oversight and management of the end-2-end support for Dealers throughout the value chain. This position develops strategic relationships with Dealer Principles and Senior Management aligning RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service).

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership driving the Ricoh engagement process in the software and services sales solution design engagement for the dealer team/Champs

  • Adheres to the Ricoh Sales, Design, and Implementation guidelines

  • Acts as the National subject matter expert in Ricoh's RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service) portfolio to the dealer team

  • Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and dealer satisfaction

  • Creates business strategies to facilitate Services growth within the Dealer Channel

  • Present to and consult with Dealer Principles, mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing / growing Services Revenue thru the Dealer channel via the RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service).

  • Attend dealer functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

  • Work effectively with Dealer Principles and Senior Managers to develop long term strategic relationships.

  • Work with the Ricoh Dealer sales team, marketing staff, and other managers to achieve established Services revenue goals and implement business development initiatives that maximize and grow.

  • Identify opportunities for Dealer focused campaigns, services that will lead to an increase in Services Revenue.

  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the Champs Program unique selling propositions and differentiators.

  • Manage Services Design team support and alignment to RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service) requests

  • Design and participate in solution strategy to support the Dealer team as appropriate

  • Oversee the request and assignment activities across pre sales in support of RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service)

  • Function as management sponsor in RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service) Area Professional Services opportunities

  • Responsibility for pre sales support of RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service) for revenues and profitability aligned to the dealer team

  • Drives education and awareness with the Dealer team to ensure they are competent and leading the effort with the dealers.

  • Participate in the launch of solutions and technology offerings for RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service)

  • Provide sales assistance where necessary to Dealer personnel

  • Aligns the RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service)/dealer activities with the engagement model process and tools to support requests and assignments as close to the direct activities as possible

  • Work with Strategic Marketing to provide presentations and trainings as feedback on the offerings and collateral from the RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service)dealers

  • Work with the management staff on implementing new policies and procedures to support RDBS (Ricoh Dealer Business Service)

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Requires 4-8 years experience in the areas of software sales, solutioning, implementation, or support services.

  • Requires 1-2 years experience as a Sales rep; quota measurement

  • Requires completion of a four-year degree and/or knowledge typically gained through attainment of a 4-year degree.

WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

  • Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction prepare, provide and convey diversified information.

  • Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity· regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.

Pay Rate Range

95K - 110K

Bonus Eligible
