The anticipated salary range for this role is between $97,000.00 and $154,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Cloud Cybersecurity professional to join us within our Identity and Access Management team. This position supports the day-to-day administration and operations of the Bank’s Information Security program by performing a broad spectrum of activities. The analyst will additionally support projects, research, and other administrative tasks as deemed necessary by Information Security Management. This is a great opportunity to build your cybersecurity expertise with hands on experience in Azure, Okta, and Authentication Management
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Support Information Technology (IT) Operations by providing Identify Access Management (IAM) services within the Azure/OKTA IAM solutions
Monitor and respond to security alerts, escalations, and open tickets as part of the program’s continuous monitoring strategy
Documenting risk, control, and technical documents to assist in consistent management of the program
Perform OKTA IAM research for Business to Customers (B2C) as well as support IAM architecture planning and builds
Leverage industry standard requirements to ensure all planned IAM architecture is compliant
Document research, roadmaps, and architecture design for transparent reference
Leverage planning outputs for successful and complete IAM project implementation regarding then following:
Build an Identity Offering (i.e., Account Management, Password Policies, etc...) on the Azure AD B2C or OKTA B2C platforms
Build Processes to ensure the offering is compliant with the Bank’s Standards and Procedures (e.g., Access Reviews, Password Policy, Fraud Detection/Response, Lock out, MFA, etc.)
Support internal and external assessments as well as audit requests by obtaining documentation and responding to inquiries.
Construct build out testing (automated where possible) and processes to support rapid deployment of new features released by the Information Security team, within the IAM catalog offering
Provide guidance and training to entry level staff members on policies and procedures of the department
Represent the department and/or be able to lead projects on behalf of the Information Security department
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience Skills, & Qualifications:
5+ years of Information Security experience
2+ years of Cybersecurity experience specializing in Identity and Access Management
Cloud experience in Azure AD
Experience researching and planning Architecture solutions to support IAM Builds
Experience in migrating Identities from one IAM platform to another
Demonstrated work focused on Identity Management (i.e., Account Creation, Account Management, Account Monitoring, etc...)
Demonstrated work focused on Authentication Management (i.e., Auth Code, Device Flow, Client Credential, MFA, etc...)
Demonstrated work focused on Authorization Management (i.e., Privileged Access, Role-Based Access Controls, Scoped Permissions, Zero-Trust enforcement, etc...)
Effective decision making and critical thinking skills.
