Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the Bank in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining customer accounts, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient processing of customer credit applications.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications

• Ensure smooth traffic flow within the banking environment to provide efficient service

• Address customer service issues by conducting research, assuming ownership of customer problems, and providing follow-up status to customers

• Open deposit accounts like checking and savings, certificates of deposit, safe deposit box leases, HSAs, IRAs, etc.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and make necessary changes in account name and address

• Handle specific service transactions for customers including but not limited to reordering checks, granting access to safe deposit boxes, etc.

• Build customer relationships using bank developed techniques and processes to better serve customers and the banking environment

• Stay updated about existing bank products and services including implementation of new ones

• Support team sales process by identifying and acting upon customer needs or by making the appropriate referral

• Comply with all bank policies and procedures, security guidelines, and federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

• Previous experience in a call center customer service role is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service, resolving customer inquiries and complaints effectively.

• Proficient in data entry, ensuring accurate and timely input of customer information.

• Ability to manage email correspondence with detail orientation, responding promptly and accurately to customer inquiries.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a positive and detail-oriented demeanor at all times.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with the ability to use these tools to track customer interactions and generate reports.

• Experience in order entry, ensuring that all customer orders are processed accurately and promptly.
