As an Operator you will:

• Follow Job Safety Analyses, use safe work practices and report hazardous conditions at all times. Wear protective clothing and equipment as required.
• Manually or mechanically feed product to tapered, edge and cant lines or ripsaws, maintaining an even flow of board to be cut with no gaps between boards. Ensure that proper size board is being fed to the line.
• Perform other related duties as directed, including duties of other classification.
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Assist in clearing line of upsets.
• Complete production paperwork as required, accurately, and completely
• Keep equipment and area clean and orderly at all times. Paint equipment as directed.

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

The ideal Operator candidate will have:

• Knowledge of tolls and machining.
• Experience in production environment.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours
• Periodic manual lifting of weights that may exceed 50 pounds and reading of detailed work procedures.
• The working position may be awkward or require turning, twisting and/or bending while lifting, requiring moderate physical agility.
• The job requires that the employee be responsive to periodic emergency situations that may demand speed and accuracy.
• The nature of the job requires moderate endurance.
• This job also requires the ability to climb stairs.

Pay Rate: \$20-22 hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
