Job Description:

What You’ll Do

The Discover Card Portfolio Marketing department focuses on customer life cycle management and delivering award-winning customer experiences to drive financial results. The Balance Transfer team is responsible for identifying Cardmembers who are eligible for a Balance Transfer offer and managing their journey of transferring their balance to Discover. The marketing specialists within the Balance Transfer team are responsible for determining the audience to target, how to reach this audience and the offers and message to communicate to this audience.

The Lead Campaign Management role on the Balance Transfer team is responsible for planning, executing and measuring marketing campaigns and programs across multiple channels and in collaboration with internal and external business partners.

The person in this role will coordinate all aspects of end-to-end campaign management from strategy, creative development, campaign execution and monitoring to ensure successful launches and actively manage risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. The team is looking for an individual who is passionate about teamwork and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.

How You’ll Do It

  • Execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including direct mail, email, site marketing, and paid media.

  • Document and maintain core experience journeys, including process mapping and creatives.

  • Monitor and track success related to marketing. Partner with internal competitive analysis, complaints and research teams to monitor consumer insights and competitive best practices and make recommendations for enhancements.

  • Coordinate customer research for new customer experiences.

  • Partners with Analytics, Finance, Product Management and Channel Marketing to develop, implement and measure marketing strategies.

  • Manages vendor partnerships.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing Campaign Management, Campaign Strategy, Creative Management, or related experience.

  • In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in Marketing Campaign Management, or related experience.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • 4+ years of experience in Marketing Strategy Development, or related experience.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
