Job Title: Skilled Helper / Construction Technician

Job Description

We are seeking qualified skilled helpers/construction technicians to assist with a newly started Data Center Project in Ridgeville, SC, specifically Summer

s corner. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-class general contractor on a high-profile site. The role involves basic carpentry, setting up barriers, erecting tents, moving materials, cleanup of the jobsite, and basic mechanical duties as needed. Candidates must be flexible and versatile to handle a variety of tasks on site. I ndividuals with carpentry or site work construction experience are ideal skillsets to have for this role. Individuals with Assembly experience or have worked a role that required you to use various hand and power tools are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry tasks

• Set up barriers and erect tents

• Move materials and transport supplies

• Cleanup of the jobsite

• Conduct basic mechanical duties as needed

• Assist leads and take direction

• Engage in general labor tasks such as sweeping, digging, and pressure washing

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools

• Basic carpentry skills

• Ability to read a tape measurer

• General construction experience

• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Construction background preferred

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as cleaning, digging, and material transport

• Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company well on a high-profile site

Work Environment

The work environment is a 200+ acre construction site where candidates will work alongside the general contractor and subcontractors. The work week is Monday to Friday with 10-hour days, and some Saturdays may be required. Professionalism is crucial as this is a high-profile site for a high-profile customer.

Additional Information

20/HR, weekly pay, great OT and the opportunity to be a part of a massive project in Charleston. This is a one year contract position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
