We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager based in Richmond, VA This role is primarily involved in the telecom provider industry, where the selected candidate will be responsible for managing service delivery functions and ensuring high-quality standards of services. The role will also require the individual to manage financial and staffing aspects of operational management and service delivery, as well as project management tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of service functions and take responsibility for the delivery medium and equipment

• Monitor and maintain the quality standards and operability of services as defined within service level agreements

• Use negotiation skills to represent the organization both externally and internally

• Advise and influence business clients and customers at a management level regarding the delivery, costs, availability, and functionality of services and systems

• Manage service level agreements, contracts, and negotiations with both internal and external suppliers

• Take responsibility for the financial and staffing aspects of operational management, service delivery, and project management

• Set targets, monitor performance and manage the service in an efficient and effective manner

• Ensure the necessary processes and procedures are in place to maintain or recover the delivery of systems and services in the event of any disaster or major outage.

Requirements • Proficiency in English Language is required for effective communication.

• Demonstrable experience in Project Management.

• Proficient in managing Contracts and Suppliers.

• Ability to use Monitoring Tools and meet Targets.

• Knowledge of Procedures and Quality Assurance (QA) Management.

• Familiarity with Service Level Agreements and Service Delivery.

• Experience in Staffing and managing External Suppliers.

• Understanding of Operational Environment and EO/IR systems.

• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as needed.

• Proficiency in the software About Time.

• Knowledge of Assertion Markup Language and USA Cedar.AI.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Experience in Delivery Management.
