Power Delivery Project Manager
POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management teamlocated in Richmond, VA. Flexibility is available for a hybrid work environment (employee will need to live within driving distance of the Richmond office to be considered).The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and executing Power Delivery projects, managing and developing client relationships, and marketing POWER's Power Delivery services to existing and new clients in the respective region.
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
Promote company culture and manage internal and external relationships
Manage status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and unbilled for each project
Collaborate with project design teams
Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team
Develop & maintain schedules, lead project status meetings with project teams, oversee budgets, participate in proposal preparation, take a leading role in client relationships
Work primarily with Power Delivery, but may also interface with other divisions, based on the nature of any particular project
This position will primarily have local travel to regional clients
Demonstrated Project Management skills should include CPM scheduling, budget and cost analysis, managing project teams, as well as proposal writing, client marketing, and project presentations
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University required engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline OR 10+ years of professional experience in the electric power and communications industry
Ten (10) + years of applicable industry experience
Five (5) + years of relevant project management experience
Relevant experience includes small- to medium-scale project management, and/or project-lead engineering experience on projects
Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools required
General understanding of transmission systems required
Desired Education/Experience
Familiarity with regional utilities in the respective region
PE registration is desired
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred

Base Salary Range: $110K - $165K
The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
