Omnicell Organizational Development Manager in Richmond, Virginia

Job Summary:

The Manager Organizational Development will focus on designing, delivering, and consulting on learning strategies that enhance leadership capability, employee growth, and organizational effectiveness. This role plays a critical role in identifying and developing the critical capabilities for employees at both the individual and organization level. A leader in this role collaborates with HR People Strategists, leaders at all levels, and employees to create solutions to boost leader effectiveness, create meaningful career development experiences, and to implement strategies to unleash the power of our people.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and support department objectives and organizational development strategies to ensure that programs are supporting our audience needs and strategic business initiatives.

  • Own the employee development roadmap including competency-based learning programs, career development planning, and implement learning experiences to develop critical capabilities.

  • Leverage best in class learning practices to create scalable, effective, and meaningful development experiences that boost engagement and increase learning transfer to the job and performance.

  • Develop, implement, and facilitate Omnicell’s leadership development program to support leader transitions, increase people leader effectiveness, and create a consistent leadership standard across the organization.

  • Oversee a variety of initiatives including strategic capability learning experiences, leadership meetings, talent processes/programs/systems, and investment programs for specific talent pools.

  • Develop project plans, calendars, milestones and communications for processes and programs.

  • Communicate with key stakeholders throughout the organization related to processes and programs and to gather continuous improvement feedback.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and develop strategies and mechanisms to demonstrate business impact

  • Coordinate internal and external resources and vendors and lead research into training providers and other information.

  • Act as an adviser to the rest of the team on projects and tasks.

  • Lead or assist on special projects or initiatives as requested.

  • Carry out research as directed into training providers or other information.

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze records and processes for employee and organizational development activities - including recording and monitoring training completion, program evaluation, and business impact measurement.

  • Develop and maintain positive, collaborative, and productive working relationships with all (internal and external staff/vendors) to sustain the brand of the Organizational Development team as a customer focused function

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Expertise in learning and leadership development program design and facilitation

  • Strong business acumen and ability to align learning initiatives with organizational strategy

  • Experience leveraging learning technologies, LMS platforms, and digital learning tools

  • Ability to analyze learning effectiveness and continuously improve program impact

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills

Basic Qualifications

  • 4-6 years experience with program management, learning programs, and solutions

  • 4-6 years experience assessing learning effectiveness and impact on the business

  • Experience in virtual training/development using learning technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Organizational Development, Communications, Business, or related area

  • Experience in navigating complex organizations with a focus on enterprise-wide talent strategies

  • Certification in change management methodologies (eg Prosci, Kotter), leadership assessments (Hogan), leadership coaching, and inclusive leadership frameworks.

Work Conditions

  • Fully remote role

  • Up to 20% travel
