Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to support one of our state clients in their efforts to maintain and establish proper security protocols within the networking systems at the agency. They will be apart of the networking and infrastructure team, collaborating closely with information security individuals. The team is currently working on establishing network and security plans in place for a smooth migration to the Azure ABS environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, network analysis, and security. You will work closely with the team to configure network security components. Some of the responsibilities include working closely with the network and security teams to bridge gaps on the current projects and offer direction. This individual will have extensive experience in supporting multiple projects at once. The team is onsite in Richmond, VA 3 days/week and the ideal pay rate is between $48-62/hr and based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a similar role

• Most recent experience should be more security focused

• High preference for a background in networking

• Experience with CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker)

• Experience with a SIEM (preferably Microsoft Sentinel)

• Microsoft Defender

• Azure security experience - Experience with an IPS (Intrusion Protections System)

• Cisco (Sys fire power) & Palo Alto (managing panorama) experience null
