SUMMARY:

The

Roof Technician

is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all roof tops on property.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the roofing trade preferred.
• Have verbal and written effective communication in the English language.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Must have the ability to maintain clean roof top areas.
• Must be able to schedule work with vendors.
• Have basic knowledge of working with hand and power tools, in establishing effective maintenance scheduling of all roof tops.
• Must have the ability to work around electrical and water and gas feed lines.
• Must maintain an orderly schedule of preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Must use all safety equipment as required.
• Maintain constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to shift supervisor immediately.
• Attend and successfully complete all training courses and requirements.
