PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,900.00-$123,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $78,400.00 - $145,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

You will be at the heart of creating engaging content and performing ongoing analysis for BECU.org and other crucial platforms as the Sr Content Strategist (Content Strategy Manager) at BECU. Your role is essential in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive insightful web data analysis. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing content optimization strategies that align with business goals and elevate member experiences. Furthermore, you'll maintain close collaboration across the credit union, fostering continual enhancement in content quality to meet BECU's strategic goals, address member needs, and uphold the BECU brand.

This role is primarily remote with in office time required for monthly team meetings and other occasional business needs.*

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Data Analysis Leadership: Identify and explain data-driven approaches to leverage GA4 and other sources. Determine metrics and trends to derive actionable, strategic outcomes and influence consumer behaviors.

  • Content Visibility Enhancement: Enhance the visibility of captivating content across BECU.org. Utilize data analysis to offer recommendations and insights for member-centric content optimization, maintaining best practices and aligning with business objectives.

  • Project Leadership: Lead or contribute to projects such as content refreshes, digital enhancements, restructuring information architecture, A/B testing, and taxonomy development. Collaborate with editors, writers, designers, project managers, and other team members to deliver exceptional content.

  • Collaborative Strategy: Foster partnerships for content strategies that boost site traffic, improve conversions, and meet member needs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • SEO & Conversion Optimization: Optimize existing website content for SEO and conversion purposes. Oversee site search and participate in technical upgrades to enhance content visibility, communicating optimization outcomes to stakeholders.

  • Support Systems Development: Aid in developing taxonomies, categorization, and tagging systems to boost localization, personalization, and measurement capabilities.

  • Site Navigation Refinement: Guide the refinement of site navigation strategies for SEO benefits and enhanced usability

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, including content audits, gap analyses, and competitive research to gauge content effectiveness. Analyze data and recommend changes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Management, Content Management, Marketing, Communication, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in content, web, or user experience strategy.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience designing information architecture for large-scale content solutions and using web analytics to support assessments and decisions.

  • Experience with HTML, XML, DITA, and an enterprise-wide content management system (CMS).

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business and user needs into long-term content solutions.

  • Experience with enterprise content management systems.

  • Experience analyzing metrics and data, with proficiency in Google Analytics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing web copy.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Demonstrated Project/Program Management skills.

  • Experience developing and communicating new ideas and creative solutions.
