Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Ability to perform moderate SQL work - checking jobs, troubleshooting issues, updating reports

  • Perform periodic data aggregation and reporting

  • Data aggregation and transformation using empirical data analysis, logic and reasoning, and “fuzzy logic” concepts - both electronically and through manual procedures - in order to build data relationship datasets from disparate sources

  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills, electronic tools and manual processes / procedures in order to focus on, identify, and resolve data anomalies / incongruencies as well as to anticipate questions from key stakeholders and consider all aspects of an analysis before completion

  • Identify trends, inferences, and gaps (data quality / completeness, currency, and consistency)

  • Effectively summarize quantitative and qualitative analyses, describe underlying logic and reasoning, and document the business or technical conclusions or directions / recommendations based on the data, solid logic, and reasoning

  • Clearly and simply document complex end to end data extraction, translation, load, and processing flows, strategies, and procedures; Database routines / queries; Database management procedures; SQL reporting; and, Exo-SQL data processing and procedures

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets expertise

  • Microsoft SQL Management Studio

  • Microsoft SQL

  • C# programming (Object Oriented Language)

  • Procedure, Query, and View design and implementation TSQL (MSSQL)
