Witham Family Hotels Hotel Reservation Agent in Remote, Maine

Ready for an exciting remote career opportunity? We're hiring a Hotel Reservations Agent to join our vibrant team.

As a Hotel Reservations Agent, you'll be the primary point of contact for potential guests, ensuring a seamless booking experience and providing top-notch customer service. Reporting to the Reservations Manager and Reservations Supervisor, you'll engage with guests over the phone and via email, making each interaction a delightful experience.

You're not just taking reservations; you're the friendly voice that guests rely on for their travel plans, offering personalized service and maintaining accurate records. Your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming first impression and ensuring guest satisfaction.

You will be working your magic on a full-time year-round basis, remotely from your home office. Please note, candidates must live within a 75-100 mile radius of Bar Harbor, Maine. Your schedule will be 32-40 hours per week mostly 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. shifts, with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays being required. The starting wage is $17 per hour.

Here are some more details:

Essential Duties

  • Manage phone calls, emails, and clerical tasks with finesse.

  • Assist guests with booking inquiries and reservations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the booking system.

  • Provide information on room rates, availability, and hotel facilities.

  • Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process by coordinating with the front desk.

  • Offer exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.

  • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
