We are seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to join our product and design team. You'll play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring your designs to life. Your work will directly help our customers achieve their decarbonization goals.

We are looking to hire a Product Designer who has experience designing and shipping modern UX, can make tradeoffs while delivering high-value outcomes, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About the Role

As a Mid-Level Product Designer at SINAI, you'll focus on collaborating with your product and engineering team to review design briefs and brainstorm solutions. You'll refine wireframes and prototypes, run quick usability tests, and gather feedback from stakeholders. Weekly design reviews will be a regular part of your routine, where you'll present your work and gain valuable insights.

In this fast-paced, dynamic environment, you'll balance creative design with strategic thinking, helping shape products that enable our customers to achieve their decarbonization goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Autonomy: Lead the end-to-end design process, from receiving the pitch to implementation, ensuring high-quality, user-centered designs.

  • Team Participation: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define features within the problem pitch, designing solutions in defined cycles.

  • User Research: Conduct user research in Portuguese and English to deeply understand user needs and inform design decisions.

  • UI/UX Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience for different personas.

  • Data driven: Familiarity with analytics, basic understanding of data synthesis and methodologies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with an agile team and subject matter experts, contributing to brainstorming sessions and shaping the overall product vision.

  • Iteration & Improvement: Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback and testing to align with user needs and company goals.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio in web and SaaS applications; fluency in English and prior experience with remote and high growth startups within Brazil are a must; prior experience with U.S. company and climate tech are a plus but not required

  • User-Centered Design: Expertise in UX/UI design with a focus on intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.

  • Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools; experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude desired.

  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.

  • Agility: Ability to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment and is proactive about taking on various roles as needed.

  • Passion: A genuine interest in climate tech and sustainability, with a desire to contribute to meaningful work.

Salary $48,000 - $66,000 USD

The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
