Aston Carter Administrative Assistant in Reidsville, North Carolina

Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks including time entry in the payroll system, processing temp worker time cards, data entry into QuickBooks and Access databases, assisting with new hire and temp on-boarding processes, preparing reports, managing office supply inventory, and other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

  • Enter time in the payroll system.

  • Process temp worker time cards.

  • Enter data into QuickBooks and Access databases.

  • Assist with new hire and new temp on-boarding processes.

  • Prepare assigned reports.

  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrative Lead or other members of management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding and data entry

  • Experience with data entry into QuickBooks preferred

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Must meet company drug screen, criminal background , and driving record standards

Work Environment

The work environment is typically that of a temperature-controlled office. There may be infrequent trips to the shop floor, which is a non-temperature-controlled environment with exposure to loud machinery. The typical schedule is a 10-hour shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime may be required during busy periods and hours may be reduced during periods of reduced workload or demand.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
