The Xbox Experiences team is home to a team of product managers, software engineers, and designers with the mission of building experiences that delight Xbox players across the devices they want to play on. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to join our PC Experiences team to create the product vision for new innovative engagement features within the Xbox app. If you’re excited about PC gaming and the opportunity to create experiences that grow Game Pass and drive engagement with PC players in the Xbox app, then you may have found your next role!

This role includes product strategy and user experience, and working with a multi-disciplinary team across engineering, marketing, business development, data, and design. Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision . You will be responsible for identifying player needs, analyzing trends, and combining your technical and product knowledge to drive initiatives that align with Xbox’s vision and strategy, with a primary focus on PC.

  • Product Definition : Create comprehensive and user-centric product requirements that articulate purpose, features, and functionality, with emphasis on building intuitive user experiences.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration . Collaborate effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams, including researchers, designers, engineers, and internal and external studios.

  • Execution Excellence . Play a core role in defining, organizing, and driving multiple engineering projects and initiatives. Prioritize customer scenarios, manage risks, and define clear metrics for success across the gaming organization.

  • Executive Communication . Regularly engage with various levels of Gaming Leadership to present initiatives, share progress and business updates against commitments.

  • Inclusive Leadership : Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that values the contributions of all team members. Promote an atmosphere where different perspectives are respected and considered in decision-making.

  • Industry Expertise . Bring a deep understanding of the games industry in PC and the evolution of gaming platforms and experiences. Use this knowledge to inform product strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience delivering customer facing applications in the consumer and / or entertainment space

o OR equivalent experience

  • Self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing requirements.

  • Experience using a range of metrics, both qualitative and quantitative, to drive product decisions.

  • Good written and verbal communication.

  • Passion for creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive culture where individuals and teams can do their best work and unlock their potential.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
