Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required: 2-4 years of overall experience * Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification a plus. * Minimum 6 months experience with Azure services * Minimum 6 months experience with Arista * Minimum 6 months experience with Aruba * Minimum 6 months experience with Palo Alto Job Description: Summary: The main function of a Network Engineer is to determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks. A typical network engineer is responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades. Job Responsibilities: * Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands * Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs * Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades * Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems * Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas * Develop and implement solutions for network problems * Maintain multi-site connectivity, software applications, operating systems through regular maintenance Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required * 2-4 years' experience required * Network/systems administration/related work experience required * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification a plus * Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage * Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software * Experience with Azure services, configuration, and networking within an enterprise multi-site hybrid environment * Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses * Proven experience with Arista, Aruba and Palo Alto hardware and software * Experience with connectivity, configuration, and performance between physical and virtual hardware Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
