DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary responsibility of this role involves interacting directly with customers to confirm their identity, assist with completing application forms, and inputting relevant information into the online driver license application software. Additionally, the position entails conducting standardized knowledge tests to assess applicants' comprehension of the Vehicle Code, driving regulations, and traffic control devices. Moreover, a vision screening test is conducted using a telebinocular instrument to evaluate visual acuity. Another crucial aspect of the job is entering applicant test results and customer applications into online software systems through a PC terminal. It is essential to accurately input this data to ensure the smooth processing of driver license services. The role requires strict adherence to the Customer Service Policy of Driver and Vehicle Services. This involves maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer care throughout all interactions. Furthermore, the position involves verifying and documenting fee waiver codes when necessary to process customer transactions. Compliance with Fee Waiver Guidelines is essential to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery. Finally, the job may also include performing other duties as needed to support the efficient operation of driver license services. This could involve various tasks related to customer service and administrative support.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position requires overtime and travel as needed. One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
