Monarch is the first multispecialty endoluminal robot with approved indications in the US for the diagnosis of lung cancer and the treatment of kidney stones. Monarch is being commercialized now in lung cancer and is the first in human studies in urology. The category of endoluminal robotics for the treatment of lung cancer is growing fast due to the technology enabling the earlier identification of lung cancer which improves life expectancy.

We are looking for a US Business Unit Leader, reporting to the US President of MedTech Surgery, to lead the Monarch team and drive future growth in this potentially multi-billion-dollar market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, shape, and direct all aspects of the US Monarch Business Unit, including Capital Sales, Consumable Sales, and Marketing. Oversee Service, HEMA, Government Affairs, Legal, Professional Education, Commercial Education, Contracting, and Strategic Customer Group by defining strategic objectives and business plans to ensure excellence in execution and delivery of business plans.

  • Own and deliver against the P&L.

  • Shape the external environment by building relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, including government policymakers, healthcare executives, purchasing groups, IDNs, and professional associations.

  • Leverage market insights and strategic/commercial capabilities to create new commercial models and innovative solutions that drive growth and optimize shareholder value.

  • Lead market development strategies focused on gaining market access, clinical and economic evidence dissemination, and strategic contract strategy to achieve business plan targets for new product launches.

  • Create a high-performing, agile, and customer-focused organization. Develop a robust pipeline of diverse leaders with skills to succeed in a complex, dynamic marketplace. Champion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace environment and a highly engaged workforce.

  • Ensure healthcare compliance and ethical/integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Successful experience leading a disruptive capital equipment team, driving utilization, selling service, and building programs across community hospitals, academic centers, and integrated health systems.

  • Demonstrated skill in delivering on all aspects of a P&L (sales, operating expenses, net income). Business and financial acumen, along with a strategic mindset as evidenced by a track record of leading organizations to achieve results in challenging, complex business environments. A minimum of 6-10 years of progressive leadership experience.

  • Ability to win hearts and minds and instill a high-performance culture.

  • Unquestioned ethics, integrity, and Credo-based leadership as shown by a track record of establishing and championing a culture of strong healthcare compliance.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $163,000 to $282,900.

Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, long-term incentive, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
