ManpowerGroup System Engineer – Industrial Controls in Raleigh, North Carolina
Our client, a leading process flow control company, is seeking a System Engineer – Industrial Controls to join their team. As a System Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a self-motivated attitude, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: System Engineer – Industrial Controls
Location: Onsite, Raleigh, NC
Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000
What's the Job?
Provide Industrial/Commercial Control Systems Engineering services for local customers, focusing on SCADA Systems, PLC Programming, and Industrial Networking.
Support Instrument Technicians with technical issues related to DCS & SCADA systems and assist with special needs testing.
Collaborate with other System Engineers to manage project backlogs while maintaining strong relationships with existing contract customers.
Report job activities and maintain detailed logs about service calls, parts, and orders.
Identify upgrade opportunities at customer facilities and travel to job sites using a company vehicle.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BSEE / BSEET / ASEE with PLC Programming) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
1-3+ years of experience programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, MOSCAD, etc.) required.
1-3+ years of experience with computer-based HMI software (Wonderware, VTSCADA, Lookout, etc.) required.
Strong computer proficiency and understanding of industrial controls and process controls.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75lbs and perform duties in various environments.
