Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to be responsible for the architecture, design, and consultation for the development team working on the client's system. This role includes overseeing subsystems and managing both internal and external interfaces. This role is full-time and on-site .
What You'll Do
Lead the architecture and design efforts for the client's system, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements
Provide expert consultation to the development team on best practices and technical solutions
Oversee the integration of subsystems and manage internal and external interfaces
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the architecture meets business needs and technical requirements
Ensure the architecture is scalable, secure, and maintainable
Document architectural decisions and create detailed design specifications
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate into the project
What You'll Need
Required:
Proficiency in various software design patterns, languages, and architectural frameworks
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of integrating systems and working with APIs
Understanding of IT security principles and practices
Familiarity with computer networks and protocols
Skills in database design, data modeling, and data integration
Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Capability to lead and mentor development teams.
Understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in managing and developing software solutions
Proven experience in architecture and design of complex systems
Proven experience in integrating complex data systems and ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Strong background in software development and integration
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with digital transformation and modernization projects is a plus
Experience working on public sector projects, especially those involving state or municipal agencies
Experience with tolling systems and related technologies is highly desirable
Background in transportation infrastructure projects, particularly those involving digital transformation and modernization is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Preferred:
Master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on information systems is a plus
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
