Position Description In this position you will be focused on both mechanical design and additive manufacturing. You will work with our Advanced Manufacturing team on a variety exciting projects. This paid position is located at our global headquarters in Racine, Wisconsin. This opportunity can be a part-time or full-time temporary position. The typical assignment lasts for one full semester and there are possibilities to extend for additional semesters. Key Responsibilities Support Manufacturing team with concept designs and drawings for new process development work Modify existing models and drawings Support team with 3D printing process development and printing requests Perform hands-on tasks for helping produce equipment/tooling Conduct process and part experiments, trials, or testing May communicate directly with customer engineering or design teams, Modine suppliers, or Modine facilities Work in teams with personnel from multiple departments globally including manufacturing operations, product development and application engineering Required Education & Qualifications Education Requirements: Must be pursuing an Associate\'s degree in Mechanical Design Technology, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, or another technical field equivalent Required Qualifications: Experience in 3D solid modeling Experience reading and creating engineering drawings Hands-on experience and a working knowledge of FDM 3D printers Have the ability to consider manufacturability of components parts through design process Proven troubleshooting, mechanical, and analytical skills Customer-focused attitude Ability to work in a team environment while taking ownership of projects Modine...
