Job Description

-Assists with daily operations and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based environments.

-Provides support with restoration efforts for unplanned system outages and service disruptions

-Assists various SMEs with task-oriented work while receiving OJT learning opportunities (VMware, Exchange, SharePoint, MS SQL).

-Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades

-Performs incident resolution for Tier 3 requests

-Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software

-Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using vSphere

-Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks

-Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers various tasks

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree

-5+ years of experience in systems administration

• CompTIA Security+ Certification

-Secret clearance to start; must be able to obtain TS/SCI

-Highly experienced in configuration, management and deployment of Citrix ADC/NetScaler FIPS HA appliances - Can SUB VDI experience for Netscaler

-Strong understanding of Citrix Application Delivery Management (ADM)

-Strong understanding of Citrix Web Application Firewall (WAF)

-Managing Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, for hosted applications and virtual desktop deployments via zero client terminals

-Microsoft Windows desktop design engineering and implementation options

-System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs -Active TS/SCI

-Citrix certification

-Strong Citrix skillset; Citrix Administration, Citrix Hypervisor, Citrix NetScaler null
