Eaton Corporation Compliance Analyst in Pune, India
What you’ll do:
This position will be based in Eaton’s Ethics and Compliance Corporate office in Pune.
This position will include supporting Eaton's Third-Party Due Diligence (3PDD) function in the areas of compliance, third-party screening, risk assessment and mitigation, documentation and project execution.
Responsibility includes:
Support screening activities, monitoring for our third parties/ distributors and sales agents before we work with them, conduct watchlist screening, escalate any items that need attention, synthesize, and analyze data derived from multiple sources and work closely with the Ethics and Compliance team.
1. Third Party Due Diligence (3PDD):
Support the day-to-day execution of local and global Third-Party Compliance activities including screening of third parties and on-going monitoring of third party vendors
Ensure third parties / distributors/ sales agents are sufficiently identified, assessed, screened and monitor before entering into contracts
Monitoring and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for appropriate escalation to stakeholders
Utilize various tools, applications and platforms to successfully assess risk and complete due diligence reviews efficiently
Manage mailbox flow and provide timely response to inquiries
Faciliate and work on any other ad-hoc requests for the Ethics and compliance function
Support any Project based or merger / acquistion due diligence screenings
Develop expertise in due diligence review processes and technology and coordinate reporting of relevant metrics and key process improvements
Partner with other functions such as CLM, IT, Supplier Add Change to ensure that Third-Party Compliance Program is operational as a cross-functional program
10.Support Internal Audit team with Rootcause and Investigation and identify Gaps and work on validationa and mitigation of the gaps
11.Facilitate initial review of third party red flag reports with internal businesses
2. Technical Competencies & Service Delivery Requirements -
2-3 years of working experience in manufacturing industries / similar industry. Working knowledge of vendor management regulatory requirements, third party risk and contract management will be an added advantage
Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience developing risk metrics and trending reports
Highly proactive, able to work both independently and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making
7.Focus on continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
2-3 years of working experience in manufacturing industries / similar industry will be required where there has been exposure on master data maintenance.
