As a Global Markets Vice President, you will be a subject matter specialist responsible for compiling and processing all required documents to open/register a local account in each global market specific to fund type and domicile. The global/local custodians open and manage the market accounts utilizing the information provided. You should be high energy, interested in learning, extremely organized, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of fiduciary responsibility to the Funds supported. Integrity and a strong work ethic are essential. This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to developed, emerging and frontier markets learning the nuances of a country’s market structure, regulatory and legal requirements. The GM team works closely with numerous BlackRock Investment, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Trade Routing and Settlements teams and other internal partners. Requirements:
Previous asset management experience preferred. Paralegal background a plus.
Possesses strong research skills, rigorous attention to details, and an initiative-taking attitude. The ability to learn independently and pinpoint concepts in a timely fashion.
Sharp oral and written communications skills. Must be able to explain complex concepts to others.
Ability to prioritize and structure a high volume of tasks and information to ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to take ownership of problems and ensure they are resolved to meet objectives, and to reject shortcuts that could compromise quality of service.
Dependability and a high degree of professional motivation and genuine interest in financial services, asset management and the related regulatory environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills a plus.
An open, collegial, and collaborative workstyle and positive and professional demeanor.

For Princeton, NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$127,500.00 - USD$184,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
