Responsibilities
Performs Echocardiogram procedure's including Transthorasic Echocardiograms Transesophageal Echocardiograms with Cardiologist Stress Echocardiogram's with Cardiologist. Complete's Echocardiogram reports on Heartlab and process's finalized Echocardiogram reports for Medical billing. Performs Echocardiograms requiring independent judgement and Initiative. Participates with ICAEL accreditation and QA. The Technologist will assist with a teaching environment with students and new employees.
Qualifications
Minimum
High School diploma/GED or higher level degree and completion of an echocardiography program
Eligible to sit for CCI or ARDMS certification.
Must obtain CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer or ARDMS Adult Echocardiography certification within one year of position.
RCS OR RDMSAE within 12 months
Preferred
- One (1) year experience as an echocardiography sonographer
Pay Range
$38.81 - $56.28 /hour
