- Maintain hard surface floors by buffing, stripping, and refinishing floors. Clean baseboards, corners, and doors, and perform finishing techniques to protect floors.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets to remove dirt and stains.
- Perform special cleaning assignments; determine appropriate cleaning chemical used to clean various surfaces such as vinyl; painted surfaces; ceramic tile; carpet and metal, brick, wood, and cork surfaces, concrete wall surfaces and clean vents.
- Develop and maintain capable working relationships with coworkers and staff. Continually improve and develop skills and knowledge.
- Maintain floor care equipment to include minor repairs and adequate chemical supplies needed to complete tasks.
