Kevin Wong with Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, your primary role will be to ensure the smooth and professional onboarding of new clients, lead and manage client meetings, and maintain utmost accuracy in client records. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing structured processes to transition clients from their current bookkeeping processes to a highly stabilized series of workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the intake and setup of new clients, ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding experience.

• Lead and manage client meetings, coordinating schedules and maintaining client records with utmost accuracy.

• Design and follow structured processes to ensure that every client transitions smoothly from their current bookkeeping processes to a highly stabilized series of repeating workflows.

• Act as the key team member responsible for helping define the strategy and specifications of the cleanup and redesign of client books.

• Communicate with clients and internal teams using digital platforms to facilitate the flow of information and resolve any issues promptly.

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain precise customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account activity.

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and organize financial data.

• Handle billing functions and manage accounts payable and receivable.

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with BlackLine

• Knowledge of Concur

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform various accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in auditing

• Familiarity with billing functions

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas
