Core duties and responsibilities include the following. 

• Efficiently install, maintain and service dairy equipment systems as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain proper inventory, tools, and safety equipment in assigned vehicle at all times.
• Document all labor, parts and equipment installed.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct on each service dispatched.
• Identify and advise Service Manager of potential opportunities for additional business such as upgrading systems, scheduled maintenance contracts, and additional services, supplies, equipment or customer requests for follow up with the President at all times.
• Fully utilize the FieldEdge program on the tablet to properly maintain inventory and invoice appropriately for parts and labor.
• Rotate "on-call" duties with other service technicians, after hour calls as scheduled.
• Travel to job sites in service area, and work with service dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer to ensure good public relations at all times.
• Observe and follow company procedures and safety rules at all times.
