Safari Café - Food Service & Ice Cream Server

Job Summary:

Join our team at the Safari Café, where you'll serve delicious food and refreshing ice cream to guests while providing excellent customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment. If you love working with people, handling food, and being part of a unique wildlife experience, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and assist them in person or over the phone.
• Take and process food orders, operate the POS system, and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
• Prepare and serve various food and ice cream items according to recipes and portion guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen equipment, food prep areas, and guest seating.
• Follow all ServSafe food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Assist with stocking merchandise and concession items as instructed.
• Communicate with supervisors, team members, and other departments via radio as needed.
• Monitor guest safety and enforce park rules when necessary.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 14 years old with a valid work permit. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for several hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Honesty, reliability, and attention to detail are a must.
