The Farmhouse Bistro offers an outstanding opportunity to work in a world-class environment known for its rustic charm and seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine. Our bistro is an outstanding blend of contemporary artisanal dining in a calm, picturesque setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all restaurant operations, ensuring outstanding quality and efficiency

• Collaborate closely with the General Manager to develop innovative, seasonal menus

• Maintain a flawless kitchen environment, adhering strictly to health and safety standards

• Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive team atmosphere

• Ensure seamless farm-to-table execution, integrating locally sourced ingredients

• Manage inventory and procurement, optimizing cost control and waste reduction

• Successfully implement and refine kitchen policies and procedures to improve operational excellence

• Support the team in other outlets of The Crossvines property.

  Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant

• Ambitious and determined to consistently deliver world-class culinary experiences

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to encourage and motivate a diverse team

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to compete in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure

• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
